The Long Weekends are Coming, and short weeks are coming.

EGGS, EGGS,EGGS, they are not getting any better, it is nationwide, it is over all Caged, Free Range, Cage Free, Barn Laid and pulp, we are trying to source from anywhere we can, but it is not good, there are very few eggs coming over from the east which is putting more pressure on the local supply which it just can’t handle. We are doing our best to supply and spread them around, so everyone gets something.

Avocadoes are shortening up, it is that time of the year when we transition from Hass to Shepard, this season is not very long, then back to Hass, we are already seeing some Hass back in the market, but remember Shepard have totally different characteristics than Hass, ripen quicker and the stay green.

There are still some shortages, the floods over east are not helping, with supply problems putting pressure on our local stock, Sweet Potato is one that could be affected due to the heavy rain.

Festival lettuces are coming good slowly, Heirloom Tomatoes are in poor supply with very little stock coming in from SA.

Apricots, Peaches, Nectarines and Mangoes are done, but Plums are still going probably to the end of the month.

Carnarvon Asparagus is trickling through, the main supply is Mexican.

Fruit season is going well, Figs are still going, there are some jamming Figs coming through, all Melons are in good supply as is Grapes.

Large Royal Blues are getting better, most of Potatoes are in good supply and we are starting to see new season Onions coming through as well.

We now have a reasonable supply of coloured bunch beetroot available; Tomatoes are in good supply and quality.

New season Apples and Pears are in, Pink Ladies are a little way off still.

So, a lot more positives on supply, now.

Dried Fruit slices now back in stock, Eden Towers are supplying Exotic Mushrooms with a good array of varieties.

Please also be aware we do stock a range of Browne’s milk, we are stocking the core range, but if there is anything you need, please ask.

We are receiving great reviews with the implementation of our new online ordering system, just be careful when entering part kgs, especially herbs, please enter as 0.250 which will then make it 250 grams, you must put the zero then the point, it is a great system and if anyone needs a hand, please do not hesitate to ask any of our staff.

On another note, we are receiving a lot of late orders, even from sites that close in the afternoon, please make sure you place your orders as early as possible to ensure delivery and are delivered on time.

With supply of fruit and Vegetables, there is always something and we may think things are going ok, but it does change very quickly.

All areas, Monday through to Saturday.  PLEASE REMEMBER $100.00 minimum order as of 1^st July 2022.

Online orders only for SUNDAYS & Public Holidays (Minimum $300.00) and this will continue for all Sundays and Public Holidays, if you do not normally get an order on a Sunday and need a large order let us know as a lot of people forget to change the delivery date and we assume the orders are for Monday.
